We'd seen quite a few studios and got varying prices before taking the plunge and booking our 5 day session. Not only was Restrike the best price it was also had biggest space and best equipped we saw. Every aspect of Restrike is great. The live room is HUGE, the chill out room has everything you could need between takes. Cormac is welcoming and so easy to get along with that we really felt relaxed all the way through our session making it easier for us to nail the songs. He came up with some great suggestions to improve our songs and he's a genius with pro-tools. We'll definitely be using Restrike again in the future and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Restrike had all we could ask for in a studio from a top fella in Cormac right upto the equipment that is top drawer & facilities that are kicking ...Will we be back you ask??? Of course we F@#king will!!!!

The Great Fury

We really enjoyed our time at Restrike Studios, it had great facilities that allowed us to easily get the exact sounds we wanted and was also an incredibly relaxed atmosphere which allowed us to nail our performances. Couple in a great engineer (Cormac), a chilll out room and an ample supply of chocolate digestives, and you've got the makings of studio heaven. We thoroughly recommend recording there.

Immediately it was apparent that Restrike studios was a friendly and relaxed environment, we were greeted by an ebullient and pleasant Irishman that was a certain Cormac Donelly, sporting a handshake and a smile he gave us the tour of his studio. This was to prove spacious and well maintained, with a hefty live room, dead room, control room and my personal favorite; a leisure room complete with pool table, darts board, television, consoles, fridge and perhaps most importantly kettle. Being primarily a vocalist I would spend the greater part of my time here. With little time to waste we would set up and began recording, over the whole four days we were to record a total of six tracks, four of which would be live recordings. 'Six tracks in four days?' I hear you cry, yes, and they are astonishing too. Cormac would do more than he was paid to do, he would propose improvements and share with us his undoubted wisdom. He clearly had great knowledge of all his equipment and was speedy and competent at completing all his tasks. The tracks seemed to come together before they were even started, and we are more than pleased with the outcome. I particularly like the fact we were able to attend the mixing process of the tracks, it left us safe in the knowledge that everything was to our liking and exactly how we wanted it. Having recorded at other studios, I would massively recommend Restirike, it's everything a recording artist could want and more. Cormac would become a friend and fan of the band and actually came to see us live, he even bought us all a drink. What a guy.
